Online CEU: Compassion in Action - Leveraging Humility, Responsiveness, and Compassion for Quality Care

This course qualifies for 1 Learning Type CEU (General).

Terms like “compassionate care” are on the rise, and while they feel like they may be intuitive, behavior analysis requires a bit more direction in what skills and how said skills are developed. Thankfully, we have the interventions that demonstrate we can teach along these domains. Further, we have examples of teaching across “softer” domains like ethical behavior and soft skills. In this discussion, Dr. Shane T. Spiker will discuss emerging research around compassionate care and how we can leverage our current science to engage in compassionate and humble practices in alignment with ethical guidelines and social validity considerations.
