Behavior analysis services are billed in accordance with rates established by the applicable funding source, including insurance companies, Medicaid programs, school districts, or other payers.
Clients and/or responsible parties are financially responsible for any amounts determined by the funding source to be patient responsibility, including but not limited to, copayments, coinsurance, deductibles, non-covered services, and denied claims determined to be the responsibility of the client or guarantor.
Clients must verify their insurance benefits and coverage limitations directly with their insurance provider. Positive Behavior Supports Corporation (“PBS Corp”) staff, including Regional Coordinators, may assist in providing general benefit information; however, verification provided by PBS Corp does not guarantee payment or coverage by the funding source.
Private pay services are subject to a separate service agreement outlining applicable rates, payment terms, and financial responsibilities. Private pay rates may vary based on provider credentials, service type, and level of care. The responsible party must review and sign the applicable agreement prior to the initiation of services.
PBS Corp will never call you requesting payment information over the phone or email requesting your payment information (such as your credit card number). All payments are securely made through the PBS Care Portal.
PBS Corp reserves the right to suspend or discontinue non-emergency services for delinquent balances in accordance with applicable laws, funding source requirements, and continuity-of-care obligations.
