Dr. Shannon E. Hoey
Dr. Shannon Hoey is a Board Certified and Licensed Behavior Analyst with a robust background in organizational behavior management and applied behavior analysis. Certified since 2019, she earned her M.Ed. in Special Education and Applied Behavior Analysis from George Mason University and her PhD in Behavior Analysis from The Chicago School, where her research focused on identifying effective training methods for behavior analysts and student analysts.
Other research projects spanned optimizing the behavioral consultation models in the educational setting, leveraging data science to improve police behavior, and employing systems-level intervention to improve a variety of staff outcomes in a residential setting.
In addition to her clinical expertise, Dr. Hoey has advanced training in organizational behavior management, including a specialist certificate from Florida Tech. Her work in clinical, academic, and research settings has earned multiple awards for excellence and continues to shape effective practices in behavior analysis while positively impacting communities.
