This course qualifies for 1 Learning Type CEU (General)
Season 2 of Paperback Behavior sees Shane Spiker, Patrick O’Leary, and special guest Sam Barretta dive headfirst into Practical Ethics for Effective Treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorder by Brodhead, Cox, and Quigley. This season sees an exploration of the basic philosophies of ethics in behavior analysis, decision making models in practice, and how one might analyze contextual variables that influence ethical decision making in behavior analytic work. This season ends with a wonderful interview from Dr. Matt Brodhead himself. In addition to the work described above, Shane and Patrick dive into an issue of Behavior and Social Issues, one of the less discussed journals through ABAI’s current subscriptions. And finally, we have a bonus episode, where we analyze the contingencies related to Roland Deschain in Stephen King’s The Dark Tower.
