STUART, FL (December 23, 2019) — PBS Corp. spent November celebrating Behavior Therapist Appreciation Month. This month allowed us to show appreciation to all of our Behavior Assistants, Registered Behavior Therapists, and Student Analysts as they work tirelessly to make a difference in the lives of PBS Corp. families.
Throughout the month each region celebrated in different ways including:
West Coast Region: Picnic for the therapist and their families which included food, face painting and fun!
Space Coast Region: An appreciation lunch with tie dye t-shirt activities and gift boxes with clicker counters.
North Florida Region: Provided free PBS swag for all staff, entered them in a raffle to win a bottle of wine, and had lunch and coffee throughout the month.
North West Portland Region: Held dinner at Niquelle Schenbeck’s beautiful home where each person who attended brought food and drinks for everyone to share. For some, it was their first time meeting a lot of the other PBS team members. Good times, yummy food, and great company!
Greater Toronto Region: PBS Analyst Holiday Dinner at Vinnie Zucchini's Italian Restaurant with 17 people in attendance who received special PBS Canada toques for our analysts as a thank you gift for all their hard work.
San Francisco Bay Region: PBS mugs
Central Florida Region: Held a pot luck dinner at the end of October to bring RBT’s and Analysts together and held individual meetings all over Orlando to meet with RBT’s and get to know them.
Austin, Waco, and San Antonio, Texas Region: Went to Dave and Busters and gifted handmade bracelets.
Greater Sacramento Region: Hosted a lunch and mingle!
Central Valley Region: Put together handmade S’mores kits to be enjoyed.
Dallas-Fort Worth Region: Wrote thank you cards to their wonderful technicians and had an appreciation brunch at the Original Pancake House
Treasure Coast Region: Held a Sunday Brunch with beach and pool access for fun in the sun.
Broward County Region: RBT appreciation Thanksgiving Potluck where the leaders served the analyst.
Palm Beach Region: Hosted a casino-theme event where we told our therapists “thanks for betting on us.” PBS swag was given out and cards with encouraging words from caregivers were shared.
Miami Region: Therapists showed up in their PJs for Potluck and Praise event at their office
Houston Region: For appreciation month everyone received a Somebody with Autism Loves Me keychain. There was a softball tournament was planned but canceled due to weather so thank you cards were sent out in its place.
Greater Atlanta Region: Had a luncheon for RBTs and provided PBS Swag with PBS clip boards, pens, and tote bags.
Emerald Coast Region: Ordered custom PBS clipboard/binders for their team and due to scheduling, will be hold a family-friendly team event in the beginning of next year to celebrate them.
Suwannee River and Capital Regions: Sent gift cards to all RBTs.
South West Region: Hosted a dinner and white elephant gift exchange and gave out PBS hats to their analyst and student analyst.
West Coast Region: Held an Ugly Holiday Sweater and Mardi Gras party where they gifted PBS hats.
Southern Cali Coast: Wanted to make sure everyone was involved and hosted four regional dinners; one for each section of the region.
Oregon Region: Got cozy with a Friendsgiving Potluck at an analyst’s home.
Washington Region: Had an analyst open their home to host a potluck to be enjoyed by all!
